OUR GRAPES
The wines grow out of small-scale, highly selected viticultural operations in the skillful hands of local vintners, with the aim of promoting the local Abruzzo grape varieties and showcasing the Abruzzo vocation for winemaking.
The grapes come entirely from vineyards in the province of Chieti: a rather broad territory with a great variety of terroirs and microclimates, each contributing unique features that produce grapes having diverse chemical and aromatic characteristics and all offering uncompromising quality.
OUR WINES
The Ferzo family of wines, destined exclusively to the HoReCa sector, includes Montepulciano d’Abruzzo DOP, Cerasuolo d’Abruzzo DOP, Cococciola d’Abruzzo Superiore DOP, Pecorino d’Abruzzo Superiore DOP, Passerina d’Abruzzo Superiore DOP.

Montepulciano d’Abruzzo DOP is a smooth, elegant wine with impressive structure and olfactory intensity, an ideal complement to red meats and game.
Cerasuolo d’Abruzzo DOP, obtained by the white fermentation of Montepulciano grapes, is a very crisp, fresh wine with notes of cherry and almond, whose acidity makes it an excellent wine for all courses.
Versatility is also a strong feature of Cococciola Abruzzo Superiore DOP, a full-flavored wine with an enveloping bouquet whose balance gives it a delightfully delicate touch.
Thanks to its full-body flavour, structure, persistence and floral nose highlighted with notes of acacia and aromatic sage, Pecorino Abruzzo Superiore DOP is an ideal accompaniment to seafood.
Passerina Abruzzo Superiore DOP is a fresh, fragrant wine that brings out complex olfactory sensations on your palate for a surprisingly persistent finish.
